Bio:
Formed in Bologna in 2013 from the ashes of Lacerater, Across The Swarm began their journey as a death metal act before evolving into a hybrid of metalcore intensity, groove-driven death metal, and electronic influences. After several early lineup changes, the band solidified with Francesco Flagiello (vocals), Mirco Diana (bass), Marco Lambertini and Luca Sammartino (guitars), later joined by Davide Tomadini on drums.
Their debut EP (2014), recorded with drummer Riccardo Grechi, introduced a fresh sound by merging crushing riffs with drum & bass samples from Luca Lodi (Hallucinator). Following European shows in 2015 and the release of their single Waiting for the Hyenas in 2016 (with a video by Lucerna Film), the band shared the stage with international acts such as Fleshgod Apocalypse, Modern Age Slavery, Electrocution, Hideous Divinity, and Hate.
Between 2017 and 2018, Across The Swarm focused on their debut full-length Projections, released via Time To Kill Records, showcasing their unique vision of modern extreme music.
