Biography:

Anatomy of I is a progressive death metal band from the Netherlands, known for their innovative fusion of styles ranging from 1970s jazz fusion to technical thrash and death metal. Their sound is experimental and avant-garde, yet remains grounded in structured, focused songwriting.

Their debut album, released in September 2011, features world-class musicians Steve Di Giorgio (Testament, Death) on fretless bass and Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, Scarve) on drums—setting a high bar for technical precision and creative depth.

Following the release, the band performed extensively across the Netherlands and Europe, sharing the stage with heavyweights like Cannibal Corpse, Master, Dew-Scented, and Sadistik Forest.

Now armed with a powerful new lineup, Anatomy of I is working on their long-awaited second album and preparing to return to the live scene stronger than ever.
