Bio:
Gli Ultimi formed in 2008 in a small bar on the outskirts of Rome, created by Alessandro Palmieri (guitar) and Maurizio Papacchioli (vocals). Shortly after, Path joined on bass and Roberto Bernabei on drums, and the band began rehearsing at Muerto Studio in Manziana.

From the start, their goal was to merge the direct lyrics of Oi! and Real Punk with the more melodic punk rock sound of the UK scene. At the end of 2008, they released their debut LP Streetpunk, which was immediately well received in the Italian underground and allowed the band to perform beyond Rome.

In 2011, Gli Ultimi recorded the EP Questi anni at Temple of Noise in Rome, featuring three new tracks, a Kina cover, and three live bonus songs. The second LP Storie Da Un Posto Qualunque arrived in 2012 via Hellnation Records, recorded at Hombre Lobo Studio with Valerio Fisik, and was supported by extensive touring across Italy.

A year later, the band released a 7” split with Plakkaggio HC, each covering two songs from the other’s repertoire in the style of the classic BYO Splits from Epitaph. November 2014 saw the release of the third LP Anime Corsare, shared with the historic Roman band Klaxon, one of Gli Ultimi’s earliest influences.

In 2017, the fourth LP Tre Volte Dieci was released, followed by a long hiatus. After a lineup change, with Alessandro Carpani (Automatica Aggregazione, Divergenza, The Wild Strings) replacing Path on bass, the band resumed live activity. In 2019 they released Rimane una canzone, an acoustic tribute to Angelo “Sigaro” Conti of Banda Bassotti.

In November 2020, Gli Ultimi returned to the studio to record their fifth LP, released through Hellnation Records and Time To Kill Records.
