Bio:
SLUG GORE are a death/grind metal band from Ravenna, Italy, born at the end of 2022 with the goal of creating something new, dynamic, and free of rules. Their sound fuses European grindcore, American hardcore, death metal, and slam, delivering an uncompromising and chaotic assault.

The band’s concept draws on Kaiju culture (from Godzilla to Ultraman), B-movies, monster films, gore, and horror imagery—inspiring tracks like Underground Giant Death Machine and The Deadly Spawn.

In just their first year, SLUG GORE built a strong following, performing 30+ shows in Italy and sharing stages with Meshuggah, Carcass, Soulfly, Brujeria, Cripple Bastards, Possessed, Mortuary Drape, Gatecreeper, Asphyx, and more. They also played key festivals such as Dissonance, Luppolo In Rock, Frantic, Venezia Hardcore, and Built To Blast Festival, alongside an Italian mini-tour with Party Cannon.

After receiving excellent feedback for their debut EP Extraterrestrial Gastropod Mollusc (February 2023) and the single Mucus Chainsaw (May 2023), SLUG GORE are now preparing to unleash their first full-length album.
