Bio:
Formed in Rome in 2017, SONS OF THUNDER quickly carved a place in the Italian underground with explosive live shows and a debut demo that captured public and professional attention.

In 2021, the band entered Kick Recording Studio with producers Marco “Cinghio” Mastrobuono (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance, Nanowar of Steel, Shores of Null) and Matteo Gabbianelli (Kutso, Payback) to record their debut single, later completing their first full-length album at Bloom Recording Studio. A true hard rock manifesto of 11 tracks, the album channels the energy of AC/DC and Motörhead, while appealing to fans of Airbourne, Thundermother, The Darkness, Volbeat, and Turbonegro.

Praised by Jon Zazula (Megaforce Records) as “AC/DC on steroids”, the band has built a reputation for staying true to classic rock roots while forging a modern identity. Their debut single Turn It Up (2021) earned over 7,000 YouTube views within hours, landed in the Heavy Rotation of Radio Rock FM 106.6, and remained in the top-voted singles chart for over a month. Follow-up single Thunderhood consolidated their relationship with the broadcaster through interviews, live sets, and benefit events.

In 2022, SONS OF THUNDER returned to the stage with performances at Radio Rock FM’s anniversary party, Frantic Festival (alongside Doyle of Misfits, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin, Benediction, Godflesh, and more), and direct support on the Tygers of Pan Tang Italian tour.

Most recently, in 2023, the band released a fiery hard rock cover of Tom Jones & Mousse T.’s “Sex Bomb”, further showcasing their mix of classic inspiration and modern punch.
