Bio:
Formed in Ravenna, STYGIAN unleash a furious hybrid of black metal and crust punk—tense, raw, and uncompromising, yet layered with haunting melodic overtones. Their sound is as ritualistic as it is feral: short, sharp tracks that strike with intensity but never without purpose, unfolding ideas with deliberate weight and conviction.

Their upcoming debut album delves into the clash of two spiritual legacies: the balance-driven pagan traditions rooted in harmony with nature, and the Abrahamic religions, often responsible for war and destruction in the name of faith. While pagan rites celebrated primal forces and the sacred bond between humanity and the natural world, dogmatic monotheism fractured this relationship, leaving behind centuries of conflict and disillusion.

A visceral blend of blackened metal ferocity and crust punk urgency, STYGIAN’s work stands as both a tribute and a lament—honoring what was lost while channeling rage against imposed doctrine. Their music is more than raw aggression: it is a cathartic reflection on existence, spirituality, and rebellion.
