Bio:
Formed in Dublin in 2019, THE RISEN DREAD have quickly become one of Ireland’s most promising extreme metal exports, blending death metal ferocity with groove-driven precision. Their crushing sound and relentless live energy have carried them from the Irish underground onto some of the world’s biggest stages.

The band debuted with the EP Delusions (2019) before unleashing their full-length Night Hag in 2022, an album written during the pandemic and featuring a guest appearance from Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) on the single White Night. Their reputation grew further with standout performances at Wacken Open Air 2022 and as part of the United Titans Touralongside Vader and Marduk across Europe and the UK.

In 2024, THE RISEN DREAD expanded their global reach with the release of Betrayal and a full South American tour through Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. Now, in 2025, the band is recording their highly anticipated new album, marking the next brutal chapter of their journey.
