Bio:
Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, LAST RETCH are a relentless force in the Canadian death metal underground. Emerging in 2021 with a crushing demo, the band quickly drew attention for their raw and unfiltered sound.

In 2022, they unleashed their debut full-length “Sadism and Severed Heads”, a vicious nine-track assault featuring cover artwork by acclaimed painter Paolo Girardi. The record established their reputation for uncompromising brutality and unrelenting energy.

Pushing their sound even further, LAST RETCH released the “Ergotism” EP in 2024, refining their style with sharper riffs, tighter arrangements, and an even more aggressive approach.

Now preparing for their next chapter, the band will return in 2025 with a brand-new album—an evolved, devastatingly heavy release that promises to be their most ambitious and well-produced work to date.

With a balance of sheer brutality and dark atmospheres, LAST RETCH stand as one of Canada’s most promising death metal acts.
