Bands announced are the virtuous death metal outfit Cryptic Hatred from Helsinki, black metallers Qwälen from Oulu, hardcore metallers SARS from Turku, hardcore math masters Rats Will Feast from Jyvskylä, grinding death band Refusal from Helsinki, death grinders Napalm Ted from Oulu, death metallers Slug Gore from Italy, doom/death metallers God Forsaken from Finland, death metallers Goatburner from Finland, grindcore duo Vähäkyrö Drive-by from Finland.
Furyfest is arranged in 2 venues in Helsinki, Tiivistämö and Oranssi. Oranssi is strictly alcohol and drug-free venue for all ages. Tiivistämö is also all ages venue during fulyfest, but there is a bar with alcoholic beverages and age restricted area in the concert room, where drinks are allowed.

Cryptic Hatred
CRYPTIC HATRED emerged from the depths of the Finnish underground death metal scene in 2020.
Inarguably the band’s most diverse work to date,“Internal Torment” ventures far beyond the conventions of old school death metal, without surrendering an ounce of viciousness. Strong nuances of doom and creepy melodies can be heard throughout the record’s ten tracks concluding fittingly with a suffocating wall of sound that leaves its listeners bruised, battered, and shaken.

Slug Gore
Slug Gore, is a death-grind band from Ravenna, Italy, they blends European grindcore, American hardcore, and death metal. Founded in late 2022, their imagery features Kaiju, B-Movies, and horror themes. .In their first year, they gained a large fanbase, playing over 30 shows in Italy and sharing stages with major bands like Meshuggah and Carcass. Their debut EP "Extraterrestrial Gastropod Mollusc" and single "Mucus Chainsaw" were well-received, leading to their first full-length album "They Slime! They Ooze! They Kill!" released on April 2024 via Time To Kill Records.

Punk background bleeds into the music connecting Qwälen’s interpretation of black metal into how the genre started decades ago. Simplicity, rawness, speed and honesty. These values were present in the beginning and the same values still hold true. Punk background especially shows live as the chaotic energy of hardcore punk clashes with the ritualistic nature of black metal.

Originating from the vibrant music scene of Turku, Finland, SARS emerged in 2016 as a collective vision to forge a sound rooted in "Hatebreed inspired metallic hardcore”.
SARS stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of collaboration and evolution within the music scene, carving their path with a blend of metallic hardcore and unapologetic intensity. As they forge ahead, the band remains poised to leave an indelible mark on the global heavy music landscape.

Rats Will Feast
RATS WILL FEAST draws their musical landscape from extreme aggression and hallucinatory chaos. Hailing from Jyväskylä, Finland, the band has been touring actively in its current form since 2018. Varying between crushing hardcore, noisy psychedelia and more mellow post-rock sounds on their 2019 album "Scarcity", 2020 EP "Songs of a Racehorse" and 2021's "Malady", the band’s new album "Hellhole"continues the development of the bands destructive chaotic hardcore sound.

Refusal
Refusal is a death metal band formed in early 2008 by Tero and Timo Pirhonen in Helsinki, Finland. Over 16 years, Refusal has evolved their sound to incorporate grindcore elements, creating a unique and powerful death metal experience. The band has released two acclaimed full-length albums. Their debut, "We Rot Within," was released by FDA-Records in 2016, followed by "Epitome of Void," released by Great Dane Records on January 11, 2019..As of winter 2024, Refusal has completed mixing and mastering their third full-length album, set to be unleashed in 2025. Get ready for a relentless performance as Refusal brings their brutal and innovative sound to the festival stage!

Napalm Ted
Napalm Ted is a trio of grinding death from Oulu, Finland established in 2015. They have since spewn out a bunch of EPs, splits and three albums, "Succumb Into Madness" being the latest offering, released by Mögähead / Surrogate Rec this year. Lyrically the songs deal with life's fragility and obscure side of human mind..Started with covering bands like Terrorizer and Macabre, the band has taken liberties from a strict grindcore template since the beginning by incorporating elements beyond. Two-vocalist attack brings thrilling dynamics to the live shows as well. Expect a heavy set that cuts through the whole discography.

God Forsaken
God Forsaken is a Doom/Death band from Finland. They began life as Putrid in 1989 and released Exhumation demo tape and God Forsaken EP before changing their name in 1991, and afterwards they would go on to record two full-length studio albums with Dismal Gleams of Desolation (1992) and The Tide Has Turned (1994), both of which were released by the French label Adipocere Records.

The band toured two times in Europe. First with the British legends Anathema and German band Pyogenesis in 1994 and the second time was in 2002 with Dresden’s finest Gorilla Monsoon.

God Forsaken came back in 2020. The line-up is now creating new material for the 3th album.

Vähäkyrö Drive-by is a grindcore duo from Vaasa, taking you on a chaotic and cathartic trip through their hometown of Vähäkyrö. Nasty riffs, ear-piercing screams and blast beats!!
